With this design I tried to emphasize the adventurous spirit that Houghton is known for. I wanted to maintain the traditional idea of a highlander, so there are some elements of that here. But to give the mascot a contemporary feel I added a motorcycle and goggles. So here we have the traditional and the modern meeting in a unique synthesis. Highlander, but the highlander of today. A highlander unafraid of the challenges that approach, ready to face them both with the methods handed down through the generations, but knowing that sometimes we must adapt along with a world that's constantly changing.
