Update
It was Zach's birthday. Eric and I were bad friends because we didn't have gifts prepared. Instead we recorded a couple songs with Zach. Everything was done on awesome 4 track tape recorder, specifically on a "Creepy Halloween sounds" cassette because that's all I could find. Here is who played what, mostly for my own benefit when we forget a few months from now.
- It's Best To Be Polite
- Zach Dietl: vocals, drums, claps
- Eric Heveron-Smith: keyboard, banjo, BGVs, claps
- Greg Kamprath: great grandma Kamprath's organ, BGVs, claps
- War on Christmas
- Zach Dietl: vocals, keyboard
- Greg Kamprath: drums, banjo, BGVs
- Eric Heveron-Smith: christmas spirit
Info
The Capitalist Youth recorded a CD: Love Pt. 1. You can find a few of the tracks to the left. Love Pt. 1 is available for $10 (including shipping and handling). When the CD was being finished, there were some songs that the group decided to leave off for various reasons. But they thought it was an injustice to deprive the world of these songs. So they're available to the left under the apocrypha section. Zach Dietl sings lead vocals on "What We Are Hiding From."
The Band
The Capitalist Youth membership isn't really well defined. The band is whoever's available to play at the moment. That said, the band playing on the CD is:
- Zach Dietl: Keys, Vocals
- Eric Heveron-Smith: Bass, Keys, Drums, Accordion, Vocals
- Greg Kamprath: Vocals, Guitar, Drums, Keys
